Dr. Vicki Cane

I am the youngest of a family of 7 kids, and my MD mother refused to allow any of us to follow her into medicine. So… I’ve always had pets and went into medicine my way. I’m not the only one, I have a brother who is a dentist, and my sister was a PhD. 

I graduated back in 1986 from OVC, met my husband a few years later and have 2 amazing daughters born in the 90’s.

I’ve been an Emergency vet since 2003, and this is by far the best Emergency practice I have worked at. We have an amazing team here, with fantastic technicians, ACAs, receptionists and of course my fellow veterinarians. I have personal interest in pain management as well as medicine.

An odd fact about me is that I am an avid scuba diver, and I hope to dive in the Galápagos Islands this fall.
